The Directorate is led by Director of Academic Support Services and performs the following functions:

• To head Students Welfare and Administration Directorate;
• To supervise the welfare and general management of students at the Institute according to the laid down Regulations;
• To offer guidance and counselling services to all needy students;
• To develop appropriate strategies for anticipating, controlling and managing conflicts;
• To recommend and develop an appropriate policy of worship for the entire students community in the Institute;
• To manage an acceptable code of conduct and morality for students;
• To manage the physical fitness programs for students;
• To coordinate the management of students council;
• To act as Counsellor to all students with academic, social and health challenges in collaboration with academic advisors;
• To assist the Rector in enforcement of students by laws; and
• To perform any other related duties as may be assigned by immediate supervisor.
