The information on this website is published by the Dar es Salaam Institute of Technology (DIT) to help the public understand the Institute, its campuses, programmes and services. It is general information. It is not legal, financial or professional advice, and it is not an offer of admission or employment.

Official decisions

A decision on admission, fees, examination results, student status or employment is made only through the official process and the document issued for that purpose. A page on this website does not replace a prospectus, almanac, regulation, letter or notice approved by DIT. Where a page and an approved document differ, the approved document prevails.

Accuracy

DIT takes care to keep this website accurate and up to date. Programmes, fees, dates and requirements change. DIT does not warrant that every page is complete or free of error at the moment you read it. You should confirm any matter that you intend to rely on by contacting DIT or by using the current document published for that academic year.

External websites

This website links to other public and private websites, including academic, payment and government services. A link is not an endorsement of that website, its content or its privacy practices. DIT is not responsible for loss arising from your use of an external website. Those sites are governed by their own terms.

Technical performance

DIT does not warrant that this website will be uninterrupted, timely or free of harmful components. You are responsible for the precautions you take on your own device.

Limitation

To the extent permitted by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania, DIT accepts no liability for loss or damage arising only from reliance on this website. This disclaimer does not exclude liability that the law does not allow DIT to exclude.
