The Directorate is led by Director of Academic Support Services and performs the following functions:

• To oversee students’ admission and examinations processes;
• To liaise with Campuses and Departments on matters of admission and registration of students;
• To update and produce academic Almanac and annual Prospectus;
• To provide assistance to the Deputy Rector Academic, Research and Consultancy for general administration of academic affairs;
• To process administrative matters relating to the functions of academic Departments, Academic Board and Committee;
• To keep records of teaching staff as per the establishment;
• To handle and manage academic awards;
• To assist in processing appointments, promotions, confirmations and termination of academic staff;
• To oversee processing of applications, selection and admission of students;
• To establish, maintain and keep records of students appropriately;
• To monitor and manage students’ orientation programs;
• To perform any other related duties as may be assigned by immediate supervisor.
