The Department of Computer Studies offers a wide range of academic programmes in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Industrial Automation, and Multimedia and Film Technology. These programmes are available at the Ordinary Diploma (NTA Levels 4–6), Bachelor of Engineering (NTA Levels 7–8), and Master's (NTA Level 9) levels. The department's postgraduate programmes include the Master of Technology in Computing and Communications, Master of Science in Cyber Security and Digital Forensics, Master of Information Systems Engineering and Management, and Master of Computational Science Engineering. In addition to its core academic programmes, the department provides computer-related teaching services to other academic departments across the Institute, thereby supporting interdisciplinary learning and digital competency development. The Department of Computer Studies is staffed by 33 qualified academic members of staff and two technical support personnel. It is equipped with adequate teaching and laboratory facilities to support effective teaching, learning, research, and innovation. The department continuously enhances its human resources, infrastructure, and learning facilities to meet evolving technological advancements, maintain academic excellence, and satisfy industry and professional standards.
